We have partnered with Playground Mini Golf in Huntington Beach, CA to create two unique experiences:

Step inside a cursed speakeasy frozen on Halloween night, 1926. The music is still playing… but something is off.
The guests who were there that night never left, and the drinks being served have a way of waking the dead. 100 years later, the door has reopened.
This October, experience the haunting that occurred a century ago and uncover the mysteries that lay within The Phantom Tavern.

The Haunted Speakeasy is an interactive, immersive bar experience. Guests will step into a bar frozen in 1926, grounded in real Oil Boomtown-era Huntington Beach history.
Guests will be seated inside this speakeasy and are able to order drinks, food, and snacks. Expect special room-activations surrounding the chilling story of how the bar was haunted, including flashing lights, audio jumps, and live actors.
Our attraction is theatrical, but slow-paced, designed to fully immerse you in the story and characters of The Phantom Tavern the fateful night it was cursed in time.
No reservation is required for The Phantom Tavern: walk-ins are welcome. Seating is first come, first served. Space inside is limited, so arriving at or shortly before 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays is recommended. Arrive extra early on Halloween!

Play a family-friendly, 9-hole mini-golf course surrounded by neon lights, classic Halloween music, and fun and ghostly Halloween characters and actors. In addition, check out the arcade, craft cocktails, and full-service restaurant.

No. The Phantom Tavern is walk-in only. Arrive at or shortly after 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays to get the best seating. Space is limited, so earlier is better, especially on Halloween weekend.

The Phantom Tavern is atmospheric and immersive rather than a traditional haunted house. Expect dim lighting, period music, live actors, and occasional room activations including lighting effects and audio moments. It is designed to pull you into a story, not utterly terrify you.

The Phantom Tavern is 21+ with valid ID after 8pm. The Halloween Mini Golf and Arcade at Playground is all ages until 9pm. Children are welcome on the mini golf course during daytime hours.

No dress code required. The venue is indoors. That said, 1920s speakeasy attire is always welcome and fits the atmosphere.

Free 90-minute parking is available in the garage at 320 Walnut Ave. Paid street parking is also available nearby along PCH.

The Phantom Tavern will servea curated cocktail menu themed to the event, along with light bites. Both will be revealed closer to the event dates.

Yes. Playground's Halloween Mini Golf runs until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, so you can play a round before or after your time in The Phantom Tavern. Both experiences are in the same venue.
